Brook Sustainability

Brook Foods is working throughout our business to become as sustainable as we can be.
Environmental and Social sustainability are hugely important today. Below we have outlined some of the initiatives that we have already introduced, and we are currently formulating an updated sustainability plan to make us stand out from the crowd with our sustainability practices.  

 Environmental Sustainability 

As a business, our team are working throughout out all of our restaurants and events to ensure that we are as environmentally friendly as possible. We know how much of an impact taking small steps as a food business can have on the environment.


The main areas we are focusing on are to limit waste going to landfill and reduce harmful emissions. We do this by:

-Reducing the plastic and paper used in our restaurants using compostable packaging, and displaying menus on screens. 

-Reducing food waste by planning our menus to ensure we order the right amount of food. 

-We provide coffee beans on site for customers to take home for use in their gardens 

-Reduce Food Miles by buying from one supplier instead of multiple.

-Clear and segregated waste systems on sites ensuring waste is recycled and disposed of correctly. 



Social Sustainability

Corporate Social Responsibility - Barretstown Childrens Camp 
Our relationship began with Barretstown Childrens Camp as we were awarded the contract for their on site restaurant. Since then, we are working year on year at reducing the fee for Barretstown. Not only this but we have also chosen Barretstown as our charity partner, which means our employees will volunteer for Barretstown as well as fundraising for Barretstown throughout our workplace restaurants.
